Proposed IRIMS End User Agreement

This End User Agreement governs your use of the University of Zambia (UNZA) IRIMS system. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to comply with the following terms:

1. Purpose of the System

The UNZA IRIMS is an institutional repository designed to collect, manage, preserve, and disseminate the research and academic output of the University of Zambia.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the system only for lawful academic, research, or administrative purposes.
• Respect the intellectual property rights of authors, researchers, and other contributors.
• Not upload or distribute any content that is false, misleading, infringing, or harmful.

3. User Accounts

Where applicable:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or impersonate another user.

4. Content Submission

When submitting content, you confirm that:

• You have the right to deposit the material.
• The content does not violate copyright or privacy rights.
• You grant UNZA the non-exclusive right to store, preserve, and make the content available.

5. Intellectual Property

Content available on the platform remains the property of its respective authors, subject to license terms indicated (e.g., Creative Commons). You may only reuse materials in accordance with those terms.

6. Disclaimer

UNZA makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and availability of the system, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The university is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from system use.

7. Modifications

UNZA reserves the right to update this agreement at any time. Continued use of the system after changes means you accept the new terms.
